Le fils du filbustier (released in English-speaking countries as "Son of a Buccaneer"), the 1922 Louis Feuillade French silent military serial (adapted from the story by Paul Cartoux) starring Aime Simon-Girard, Georges Biscot, Sandra Milovanoff, Derigal, Lise Jaux, and Fernand Herrmann. Note that Louis Feuillade was one of the most important early French directors! He directed Fantomas in 1913 and Les Vampires in 1915, and it is estimated that he directed over 800 movies! More important, he is credited with being the first to direct "thrillers", and it is clear that Alfred Hitchcock, Fritz Lang, and many other directors were students of Feuillade.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "pre-War" French poster (very few French posters survive from before World War II). Also note that this is a poster from just one chapter of this 12 chapter serial! Also note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie and that it measures 59 1/2" x 84 3/4" [151 x 215 cm]. Note that the poster has an artist's signature on it, but we cannot quite make it out. If anyone knows the name of this artist, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. There are some creases and several tears along the foldlines that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some foldlines, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds.
