An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) These Three, the 1936 William Wyler romantic love triangle adultery scandal teaching private school melodrama ("Tormented by whispers!"; "Lillian Hellman's shocking story!"; the stage play's lesbian theme was removed for this 1936 version, and a romantic triangle replaced it, which drastically diluted the meaning and power of the play, but was reinstated for the 1962 version, re-titled "The Children's Hour"; written by Lillian Hellman) starring Miriam Hopkins, Merle Oberon, Joel McCrea, Margaret Hamilton, Walter Brennan (as a taxi driver), Bonita Granville (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Alma Kruger NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
