Cidade de Deus (released in the U.S. as "City of God"), the 2002 Katia Lund & Fernando Meirelles (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Brazilian/French/U.S. Rio De Janeiro Brazil crime thriller ("15 miles from paradise... One man will do anything to tell the world everything."; "Based on a true story"; "Based on the novel by Paulo Lins") starring Alexandre Rodrigues, Leandro Firmino (billed as "Leandro Firmino da Hora"), Jonathan Haagensen, Phellipe Haagensen, Douglas Silva, Daniel Zettel, and Seu Jorge

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Also note that this is a double-sided poster. In the 1990s movie posters were sometimes made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front!
