Harmon Weight (billed as "Harmon Weight") silent romantic melodrama ("From a play by Jules Eckert Goodman founded on Gouveneur Morris's story of the same name"; about an older musician who marries a pretty young woman, and after an accident leaves him deaf, his friends talk openly about him and his marriage, but then he learns to read lips, which causes him to "overhear" things that cause him to misunderstand how his wife feels about him) starring George Arliss, Ann Forrest, Ivan F. Simpson, Edward Earle, and Effie Shannon. Note that this was one of Arliss' silent movies that he remade as a talking picture, in 1932. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
