Artist: Reynold Brown Important Added Info: Note that this poster was stamped "DOMESTIC" which means it was printed for use within the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "FOREIGN" for use outside the United States). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at just a few crossfolds and a very few creases, scuffs, and tiny tears on parts of some foldlines. It had some faint ink transfer in the white background right half of the top section, caused by the poster being folded too quickly after printing. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
