The Black Knight, the 1954 Tay Garnett English medieval action adventure thriller ("New excitement!"; "New thrills!"; "Alan Ladd's biggest adventure!"; "Alan Ladd's Greatest! Bigger than ever! Better than ever! Bolder than ever!"; "A cast of thousands floods the screens in color by Technicolor"; "Storming the castle!"; "Tourney of the rose!"; "Rescue of the martyrs!"; "Produced by Irving Allen and Albert R. Broccoli"; "Alan Ladd sounds the call to glorious adventure!"; note that Broccoli went on to produce the James Bond series of movies, which Irving Allen did not want to produce, because he did not think that they were even good enough for television!; a few years later, Allen tried to make up for his massive blunder by producing the series of Matt Helm movies starring Dean Martin, but the only way he could get Martin to star was to make him a partner, which meant that Martin made more money from The Silencers in 1966 than Sean Connery made on Thunderball the previous year, and Connery was not happy about that at all!) starring Alan Ladd, Patricia Medina, Peter Cushing, Andre Morell, and Harry Andrews
