She was a regular on several popular variety shows in the 1950s, which included: Broadway Open House, Texaco Star Theater, and the Bob Hope Show. She also recorded a novelty duet with Frank Sinatra, was featured on the cover of the July 16th, 1951 issue of Life magazine, and hosted her own TV show called Dagmar's Canteen. She later performed in Las Vegas, and appeared on game shows such as Who Said That? and Hollywood Squares. She passed away in 2001 at the age of 79.
