Jailhouse Rock, the classic 1957 Richard Thorpe rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) crime prison romantic musical ("His first big dramatic singing role!"; about a young man who is sent to prison for manslaughter, and while there he is helped to become a singer/musician by an older convict, and after he is released, he becomes a major rock star!) starring Elvis Presley ("At His Greatest"), Judy Tyler (who sadly died in an auto accident before the release of the film), Mickey Shaughnessy, Dean Jones, Jennifer Holden, and Anne Neyland

Important Added Info: Note that due to the massive success of this movie, it was brought back to theaters for a very rare same year re-release later in 1957. Posters were printed up that were two-color instead of full-color, and a tagline was added that read "Special 'WELCOME BACK' Showing By Request!". Also note that only the top 2/3 of this poster is present. It was printed in 2 pieces. One had the top 2/3 of the poster and the other had the bottom 1/3, AND THAT BOTTOM 1/3 PIECE IS MISSING. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept that only 2/3 of the poster is present! Note that the portion of the poster that is present contains the complete larger image of Elvis Presley, but the smaller image is partially cut off.
