An Autographed 3" x 5" [8 x 13 cm] Index Card (Learn More) Florence Vidor was an actress from the 1910s to the 1920s. An exquisite beauty of early silents, she married King Vidor in 1915, when he was a cameraman, and she subsequently became a major star, and he a major director; they divorced in 1924, and she married violinist Jascha Heifetz in 1928, which was when she appeared in a single talkie, "Chinatown Nights", and that experience caused her to retire, and become a wife and mother! Some of her movies include: The Marriage Circle, The Patriot, and The Jack-Knife Man. She passed away in 1977 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Florence Vidor. The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic! Condition: very good to fine. The card is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
