The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come, the 1928 Alfred Santell silent Civil War Kentucky family relationship romantic love triangle melodrama ("Same lovable players and director of 'The Patent Leather Kid'";"A drama as powerful as 'Tol'able David' - a characterization as great as 'The Patent Leather Kid'"; "Story by John Fox Jr."; "All the drama of 'Tol'able David':.. All the greatness of 'The Patent Leather Kid' in"; set before and during the Civil War, about a Kentucky orphan who is adopted by a Southerner, but when war breaks out, he joins the Union Army, costing him his relationship with his foster father and his girlfriend, but he finds a good Northern girl to settle with) starring Richard Barthelmess, Molly O'Day, Nelson McDowell, Martha Mattox, and Doris Dawson. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: very good. The cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition.
