Some of his movies include: Sabrina (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Sunset Blvd, Some Like It Hot (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Double Indemnity, The Apartment, Witness for the Prosecution, and Stalag 17 (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film). He certainly produced more great hits (and ones of truly enduring high quality) than almost any other director! He passed away in 2002 at the age of 95.
