Note that after the success of the 1974 film Emmanuelle, many authorized sequels were created. The success also spawned many "knock-off" Emmanuelle films, which included the name Emmanuelle or its variants in their titles for exploitative reasons, but were not connected to the original series. Finally, note that this series of movies starring Sylvia Kristel was based on the book written in 1959 by Emmanuelle Arsan, although some people think that her husband, Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane, actually wrote the book. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It also had creases and scuffs along the folds, with some added scuffs in the solid black areas and some tiny bits of surface paper loss and scuffing in the bottom right of the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
