An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B1" Movie Poster (29x41; measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]) (Learn More)

Densetsu Kyojin Ideon (released in English-speaking countries as "Space Runaway Ideon"), the 1980 - 1982 Japanese television (TV) & theatrical film science fiction (sci-fi) anime cartoon series featuring the voices of Yoku Shioya, Fuyumi Shiraishi, Hideyuki Tanaka, Keiko Toda, and Takkou Ishimori. Note that the TV series lasted from 1980 to 1981 but ended abruptly. To give fans an ending, two theatrical films were released in 1982. The first was called "The Ideon: A Contact", which mainly featured clips from the TV series. The second was called "The Ideon: Be Invoked", which featured an updated version of the final aired episode of the TV series, as well as episodes that never aired.
Artist: Y. Idiguchi
Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! Finally, note that this poster was folded across the middle at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster was folded down the middle and there is fine surface paper loss on that foldline, and some tiny creases and scuffs on that fold and around the edges. There is a tiny tear in the middle of the left border.
