An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Here We Go Again, the 1942 Allan Dwan musical screwball comedy ("RADIO'S MOST FAMOUS FUNSTERS ..In The Screamshow Of the Screen!"; "They've Got Priority on HILARITY!"; "Radio's two top fun teams join forces again for a hit even more riotous than their 'Look Who's Laughing'!"; "There's no ceiling on laughs..."; "Radio's foremost foursome top their own laugh record in 2nd big screen hit!") starring Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy, Jim Jordan, Marian Jordan (billed together as "Fibber McGee and Molly"), Harold Peary ("The Great Gildersleeve"), Ginny Simms, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon, Isabel Randolph, Mortimer Snerd, Jim Jordan, and Ray Noble and Band. Note that dummy Charlie McCarthy received top billing with Edgar Bergen (which was typical of their movies), but secondary dummy Mortimer Snerd was relegated to 10th billing! Also note that this movie features many of the greatest of the stars from the Golden Age of Radio, performing some of their routines for the camera. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Condition: good to very good. The poster had creases, smudges, scuffs, small tears, and pinholes around the edges of the poster and creases, smudges, and scuffs scattered through the background areas, and slightly in the images and titles. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was well backed by a talented professional, but they did much paint restoration in the light background areas to cover smudges and stains, but it was quite nicely done, and it is not really distracting at all.
