An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures approximately 47" x 63") (Learn More) Le Frisson des Vampires (released in the U.S. in 1978 as "Strange Things Happen at Night"), the 1971 Jean Rollin French vampire horror sexploitation thriller starring Sandra Julien, Dominique, Nicole Nancel, Jean-Marie Durand, Michel Delahaye, Jacques Robiolles, Marie-Pierre Castel, and Kuelan Herce Artist: Philippe Druillet Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Condition: fair. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but sadly, WHILE THE POSTER WAS ROLLED, IT RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT WATER STAINING IN THE RIGHT BORDER, WHICH CREATED THREE MAJOR TRIANGULAR AREAS OF WATER STAINING IN THE RIGHT BORDER, EXTENDING INTO THE IMAGE. It also is in the very bottom corner, but that part does not affect the image. The top two triangular areas of water staining extend only slightly into the image, but the one in the lower right border extends all the way across to the left of the "LE" in the title. Certainly, a talented restorer could remove this poster from the linen and either bleach the affected areas, or use paint restoration on them, and properly re-back the poster, but PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS POSTER UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THIS VERY SIGNIFICANT DEFECT AND ARE WILLING TO PAY TO HAVE IT PROPERLY RE-RESTORED!
