A Hardcover Bound Volume of Original Vintage English Magazines (measures 9" x 11" [23 x 28 cm]) (Learn More)

Picturegoer 1922, the English bound volume of issues of Picturegoer. It appears that this volume has all of the 1922 issues, but the covers were removed from each before being bound. Of course, Picturegoer is an English movie entertainment magazine ("The Screen's Most Popular Magazine"; "All art photogravure"; "Britain's screen magazine in photogravure") first published in 1921 (or earlier) to at least the 1950s (maybe later years as well), featuring many photos and articles of popular films and movie stars! It started as a monthly magazine and at some point around 1932, it became a weekly magazine. Note that in its early years it was called "Picturegoer & Theatre Monthly", so it seems likely that, at that time, it also covered stage plays as well. If anyone knows more about this magazine, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. There is light staining on the first three interior blank pages and also the last three interior blank pages. The magazines have some wear but are generally in pretty good condition (see our images).
