An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Touch of Evil, the classic 1958 Orson Welles Mexico drugs crooked policeman revenge crime film noir thriller ("The story of the strangest vengeance ever planned!"; based on the novel 'Badge of Evil' by Whit Masterson) starring Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Orson Welles, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich ("She felt his touch - once, and never forgot it!"), Zsa Zsa Gabor (Dietrich & Gabor billed as "'With Guest Stars' Marlene Dietrich, Zsa Zsa Gabor"), Joanna Moore, Akim Tamiroff, Valentin de Vargas, and Victor Millan. Note that this movie was re-released in 1998, finally re-edited to satisfy the changes Orson Welles requested in a memo he wrote to the studio right after its first release when he found out the film had been cut. It took 40 years, but Welles' original vision was mostly restored. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bob Tollen Condition: good to very good. There is a 1" tear in the upper left edge of the poster. The poster is slightly discolored and there is some uneven discoloration throughout the back of the poster that bleeds through to the front around the edges. There are some minor scuffs and smudges scattered throughout the poster but they are not very noticeable or distracting. Overall, the poster is in generally nice condition, but if one chose to have it restored it would look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
