An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Queen of Outer Space, the 1958 Edward Bernds science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy space adventure thriller ("26 Million Miles Through The Unknown Universe -- To The Indescribable Terrors and Beauties of Planet Venus!"; "Mankind's First Fantastic Flight to Venus -- the Female Planet!"; "From a story by Ben Hecht"; "Screenplay by Charles Beaumont") starring Zsa Zsa Gabor (often mistaken for playing the title role!), Eric Fleming, Dave Willock, Laurie Mitchell (in the title role as Queen Yllana), Lisa Davis, and Paul Birch. Note that Ben Hecht, who is given credit for the story, and Charles Beaumont, credited with the screenplay, were two of the most talented writers ever to work in Hollywood. So how did they end up working on this low budget cheesy grade Z movie? Legend has it that Hecht told the story at a party, and someone who overheard it started making a movie of it, and Hecht heard about it and demanded screen credit! Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases, scuffs, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with some pinholes, tears, and paper loss in the borders.
