Important Added Info: Note that this is the transparency film that was in the camera when the photographer took this image. Studios would take this camera original and make very high quality duplicates of it, which they would distribute to theaters and media outlets and those are "studio issued" transparencies. What is a transparency? They are produced by the studio and are very high quality and were created in quantity and sent to media outlets or other places that had need of the very highest quality image for reproduction purposes (in newspapers, magazines, or elsewhere). A clear border around a 4x5 transparency denotes duplication from a negative source, a black border denotes duplication from a positive source. This transparency is in a plastic sleeve (but we removed it and scanned it, so that bidders could see just how high quality it is). It will be sent to the winner of the auction in the sleeve.
