An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Colossus of New York, the 1958 Eugene Lourie New York City robot-with-a-human-brain science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("Based on a story by Willis Goldbeck") starring John Baragrey, Mala Powers, Otto Kruger, Robert Hutton, Ross Martin, Charles Herbert (as the small boy), and Ed Wolff (in the title role as the Colossus!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had an L-shaped tear in the center of the top blank border, and someone put three pieces of white conservation tape on the back of that area, and there is bleed-through on the front from earlier tape that had been on the back of that area. There are two brown stains in the upper right blank border and pinholes in the corners. The entire poster is lightly rippled due to exposure to moisture. The poster's defects are pretty minor, and after a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, or many collectors would likely be happy to display this poster just as it is!
