An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 3" x 6" [8 x 15 cm]; 6 pages) (Learn More) The Mummy, the classic 1932 Karl Freund Universal Ancient Egypt romantic monster horror thriller ("It comes to life!"; "The most amazing make-up ever achieved"; "Story by Nina Wilcox Putnam and Richard Schayer") starring Boris Karloff ("The Uncanny"; in the title role as Imhotep the Mummy), Zita Johann, David Manners, Edward Van Sloan, Arthur Byron, Bramwell Fletcher, and Noble Johnson (as The Nubian) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is one of four wonderful Universal heralds we were consigned for this auction (they are from Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Son of Frankenstein, and The Mummy). We are auctioning them in four separate auctions. Since first release posters and even lobby cards from these movies cost astronomical amounts, these heralds are a wonderful way to include first release paper from these titles in a horror collection. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one or more of these wonderful Universal heralds! Condition: good to very good. The three die-cut sections were separated where they joined (this surely happened quite often to this herald, since they were only joined in a small area, because of the die-cut). Someone put two pieces of clear tape on the back of those areas on the green colored side (see our images). There are stains in the center image of that side, which is solely printing. The other sides, which are full-color are in nice condition (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
