Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon, the 1942 Roy William Neill London England Scotland Yard detective mystery crime thriller ("Based on the story 'The Dancing Men' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle") starring Basil Rathbone (in the title role "as Sherlock Holmes"), Nigel Bruce ("as Doctor Watson"), Lionel Atwill ("as Moriarty"), Kaaren Verne, William Post Jr., Dennis Hoey, Harry Cording, and Harold De Becker

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this 1942 first release insert, and that was 25 years ago! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. There is surface paper loss and small separation at the left end of the top fold, in Rathbone's sleeve. There is a tack hole in the center of the top border and tiny paper loss in the top left blank corner. There are smudges and tiny stains in the borders. There are some smudges in the top light background area. There are two tears in the upper right border and one has tape on the back. There is brown paper tape on the back of the bottom fold, where there was separation.
