An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Billy the Kid in Texas, the 1940 Sam Newfield (billed as "Peter Stewart") cowboy western starring Bob Steele (in the title role as Billy the Kid), Terry Walker, Al 'Fuzzy' St. John, Carleton Young, and Charles King NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, smudges, and small tears down the vertical foldline. There was a pinhole and a scratch in Steele's cheek. There were some creases and a stain in the lower right of the poster, in the "T" of "Texas" and below it. There were creases, smudges, pinholes, and some small tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The person who backed the poster simply mounted it on to a thin piece of linen, with no attempt at restoration. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
