In the Corruption Perceptions Index 2012, Kenya is ranked 139th out of 176 countries for corruption, tied with Azerbaijan, Nepal, Nigeria, and Pakistan (least corrupt countries are at the top of the list). In 2007, WikiLeaks published an article called The Looting of Kenya under President Moi, and its analysis of a leaked investigative document about the billions transferred out of Kenya by the family and associates of former Kenyan leader Daniel arap Moi.
