An Original Vintage Photographic 35mm Slide (measures 2" x 2" [5 x 5 cm]) (Learn More)

The Lost Boys, the 1987 Joel Schumacher teen vampire horror thriller ("Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire."; "Story By Janice Fischer & James Jeremias"; produced by Richard Donner) starring Corey Feldman, Jami Gertz, Corey Haim, Edward Herrmann, Barnard Hughes, Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Dianne Wiest, and Alex Winter (billed as "Alexander Winter"; in his second movie role, two years before filming "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure"!)

Important Added Info: Note that this is a studio-issued 35mm slide that was produced by the studio but is not the camera original. Sometimes some or all of the slides made by the studio have printing on the cardboard holder that gives the name of the movie, a credit for the photographer, and the copyright from the studio (see our image of this slide to know what information, if any, is on the holder). In the case of this slide, it was consigned to us by an individual, and we don't know if it was part of or all of the set that was sent with a presskit, or if it was distributed in another way, but we DO know that this slide was created either when the movie first came out, or even before the movie was released, for advance publicity. The slide is in a plastic sleeve designed to hold it. In the case of THIS particular slide, we took it out and scanned it, because it is a "better" title, and we wanted you to see just how high quality it is. That means there is a photo of the slide, PLUS a scan of it, which means there are two images (because there is a scan and a photograph).

This is a very special auction of 710 extremely rare negatives and transparencies of various sizes, plus lots of sets of 35mm slides. EVERY single one in this auction is either "studio issued" (meaning it was created by the studio and sent to theaters and movie outlets), OR it is a "camera original" (meaning it was the actual negative that was in the camera when the photographer took the picture). Every auction clearly identifies which they are, and there are no items being auctioned that are not either "studio issue" or "camera originals". We have divided them by type and size.

Also note that this auction is for one or more 35mm slides (some sets are VERY large!), and every one of the 254 auctions of 35mm slides we are currently running have been either photographed in a light box (or in the case of a few titles), up to 4 of the slides have been scanned expertly. If any of the slides were scanned, we have added an "eMoviePoster.com" watermark over it. The winner of this auction and ONLY the winner of this auction will, upon request, be sent the UNWATERMARKED scan(s) of any slides we scanned. However, in the vast majority of cases, we did not scan any slides, and in those cases, we can send the winner of the auction unwatermarked photos of what was on the auction, but we can't send scans of slides we did not scan!

Condition: very good to fine.
