An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Lord Jeff, the 1938 Sam Wood juvenile crime robbery melodrama ("Not since 'Captains Courageous' such a screen drama!"; "The greatest roles since 'Captains Courageous'"; about a boy who is recruited by crooks to pose as a rich heir and become a jewel thief, and he is caught and sent to a reformatory, and he meets model inmate Mickey Rooney, who is wanting to become a sailor, but instead of being helped by him, he drags him down!) starring Freddie Bartholomew (in the title role as Geoffrey 'Jeff' Braemer), Mickey Rooney, Charles Coburn, Herbert Mundin, Terry Kilburn, Gale Sondergaard, and Peter Lawford (in his third movie role!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
