An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 40" x 71 1/2" [102 x 182 cm]) (Learn More) Donald Duck is an animated animation cartoon character created in 1934 at Walt Disney Productions. He typically wears a sailor suit with a cap and a black or red bow tie and is well-known for his semi-intelligible speech and his mischievous and irritable personality. He had his own series of cartoons, and in the 1940s, he became even more popular than Mickey Mouse! He had a long-suffering girlfriend, Daisy Duck, and three "nephews", Huey, Dewey, and Louie, but no reference was ever made to the nephews' parents! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this very large special poster, which was created with corrugated cardboard on the back (it is the roll-able kind of corrugated board)! We don't know for what purpose it was created, but it was surely NOT sold commercially. It most likely was sent to stores selling Disney merchandise, and they would either overprint it with their information or add snipes with their information. It is surely incredibly rare! Also note that because this poster was created on the corrugated backing, it can't be combined with other posters, and must be sent by itself in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is some slight damage in the top and bottom borders, but otherwise, the poster is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
