An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 25" x 38" [64 x 97 cm]) (Learn More) Black Hooker, the 1975 Arthur Roberson black African American blaxploitation sexploitation movie ("What would you do if your mama was a hooker?"; "What would YOU do if your mother was a hooker?"; "She was LOVABLE... She was MEAN... DAMN MEAN!") starring Sandra Alexander, Kathryn Jackson, Jeff Burton, Teddy Quinn, and Durey Masen (billed as "introducing Durey Mason"). Note that this was originally a 1974 movie called "Street Sisters", which was rated PG and was not a sexploitation movie. Some enterprising distributor bought the rights to that movie and added sexy scenes and re-titled it "Black Hooker", and it was now rated R! We are listing it as a separate movie from "Street Sisters", because it is a re-edited movie. If anyone knows more about either of these movies, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 25" x 38" [64 x 97 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Note that in recent months we started auctioning a wonderful collection of sexploitation one-sheets that includes many extremely rare titles from a single collector, and that collection includes lots of folded one-sheets, but also rolled one-sheets, special posters, and some other posters as well. This month there are 65 different rolled posters (all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare rolled posters to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again!
