An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 26" x 35 3/4" [66 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) El Bombero Atomico (literally translates to "The Atomic Firefighter"), the 1952 Miguel M. Delgado Mexican firefighter fireman rescue screwball comedy (about a man trying to protect a young heiress from crooks) starring Cantinflas, Roberto Soto, Miguel Manzano, Elisa Quintanilla and Gilberto Gonzalez. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Juan Antonio Vargas Ocampo Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Condition: good to very good. The poster has a small patch of very slight discoloration under Cantinflas' chin at upper right (see our image). It has small paper loss at lower left and some tears around the edges with a few pieces of tape placed no some edges (but it is not there for any restoration purpose). This Mexican poster is somewhat fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great).
