Schoedsack Africa New York City giant ape fantasy romantic love triangle adventure horror thriller ("'The most awesome thriller of all time' the one and only"; "Not beast. Not human. Not devil. But all three magnified! Raging. Roaring. Crushing. Killing."; "Strangest story ever conceived by man!"; "Out-leaping the maddest imaginings! Out-thrilling the wildest thrills!"; "See the living, fighting monsters of Creation's dawn rediscovered in the world today!"; "See the death-fight between giant ape and prehistoric dinosaur. the most amazing combat since the world began!"; "See the ape as big as a battleship wrecking New York!"; "Unique.! Thrilling! Startling!"; "From an idea conceived by Edgar Wallace & Merian C. Cooper"; based on the story by Edgar Wallace, with incredible special effects by Willis O'Brien) starring Fay Wray, Robert Armstrong (as Carl Denham), Bruce Cabot, Frank Reicher, and Sam Hardy. Measurements: 16" x 20"Note that this poster is a REPRODUCTION and is not an original poster and it measures larger than the original poster. But it is higher quality than the vast majority of reproductions! It was one of a set of 10 that was created in the 1990s by a man in the movie business and they measure 16" x 20". Each of those were printed on a higher quality thicker paper stock than "regular" Belgian posters, and the printing quality is quite nice (see our image). When they were made, they retailed for $25 each, or $200 for the set of 10. Over the past few years, we have auctioned some of these as sets and some of these as singles, and the buyers of those often resell them on eBay or Facebook for much higher amounts. NOW, THE CONSIGNOR OF THESE WANTS US TO AUCTION THESE IN LARGE QUANTITIES OF EACH, AND WE ARE AUCTIONING 100 OF EACH OF THE 10 REPROS (in 10 separate auctions), AND THERE WILL BE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE WINNING BIDDERS TO MAKE A LOT OF PROFIT RESELLING THESE! IMPORTANT! The lot contains multiple examples of the same poster, so we have only pictured one (as well as the front and back of the envelope they are all in), but the winner of this auction receives all of them! Condition: very good to fine. We have only pictured one of the REPRODUCTIONS , but all of them are in similar condition.
