An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) Blood Beach, the 1980 Jeffrey Bloom horror thriller ("The Five People Believed to Have Drowned Here Never Even Made It Past the Sand!"; "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water - you can't get to it."; "Where the water meets the sand... the terror begins.") starring David Huffman, Marianna Hill, John Saxon, Burt Young ("as Lt. Royko"), and Stefan Gierasch. Note that when this movie was released, the posters featured a sexy girl sinking into sand at the beach, and the tagline above was used, obviously a parody on the Jaws 2 tagline. When the movie was released in France, the girl became topless (which is logical, given that most women go topless on the beaches there)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Condition: very good.
