Note that according to a 1947 U.S. newspaper article, child actor Yuri Yankin was actually a war orphan who had a similar experience to his character. Another article claims that after the film was released, his father turned out to be alive and was reunited with his son after the father saw the film. We have only previously auctioned a small Czech poster from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this French one-panel! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had paper loss in the right of the top border and some creases and scuffs scattered in the image, with a few small tears. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
