She Dances! She Loves!"; "She's out of this world... In Technicolor!"; "They say she kissed 2000 men!"; "Songs by Allan Roberts and Doris Fisher"; "Magic enchantment that takes you out of this world..."; about the real life goddess Terpsichore coming down to Earth after seeing how she is portrayed in a Broadway musical!) starring Rita Hayworth, Larry Parks, Marc Platt, Roland Culver, James Gleason, Edward Everett Horton, Adele Jergens, George Macready, William Frawley, James Burke, and Virginia Hunter. Note that there is an oddity about the posters for this movie. They have a 1946 NSS number, and yet the movie was not released until August of 1947. Perhaps it was intended for a December 1946 release (to qualify for awards), but when the movie was not ready in time, it ended up getting pushed back until the following August. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned five examples of this Argentinean poster, but the last one was 10 years ago! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds and pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but it is slightly "lifting" from the linen in the bottom corners (any restorer could easily re-glue those areas without re-backing the poster, or one could just live with them).
