An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Hands Across the Border, the 1943 Joseph Kane singing cowboy western musical starring Roy Rogers ("King of the Cowboys"), Trigger ("Smartest Horse in the Movies"), Ruth Terry, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, Onslow Stevens, Mary Treen, The Wiere Bros. (billed as "introducing The Wiere Bros."), and Bob Nolan & the Sons of the Pioneers. Note that the Wiere Bros. were a comedy trio. After this movie, their first, they appeared in 1947's "Road to Rio", and reunited in 1967 in "Double Trouble". Perhaps their comedy did not translate well to the screen! The poster has become somewhat brittle with age and there is much tattering along the foldlines and edges with some areas of paper loss along the foldlines (mostly around the edges). Fortunately, the poster's colors are still vibrant and after linenbacking, the poster will surely display well but please bid knowing that the poster will require some restoration before it can be properly displayed.
