An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 3 1/2" x 5" [9 x 13 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More)

Rugged Water, the 1925 Irvin Willat silent romantic love triangle natural disaster adventure thriller ("From the novel by Joseph C. Lincoln"; a wild story of the assistant to a life saving station on the shores of Cape Cod, and the head man retires, and instead of the assistant being promoted, a religious fanatic is given the job, and the assistant wants to quit, but he falls in love with the fanatic's daughter, and after many rousing sea rescue adventures, they are married) starring Lois Wilson, Wallace Beery, Warner Baxter, Phyllis Haver, and Dot Farley. Note that Warner Baxter was born in 1889, and in the early 1920s he rose to prominence in silent movies, becoming a major star of the 1920s, while he was in his 30s. He won the Oscar for Best Actor as The Cisco Kid in "In Old Arizona" in 1929, and he remained a top star throughout the 1930s! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
