An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Spite Marriage, the 1929 Edward Sedgwick silent romantic love triangle revenge comedy (about a lowly "pants-presser", a tailor's assistant, who falls in love with a beautiful star of a Broadway show, and attends every performance; when she is jilted by her leading man, she gets drunk and marries the pants-presser, but when he realizes that she only married him out of spite, he leaves and goes to work as a sailor, but he ends up on the same yacht that she is on, and he rescues her, which causes her to realize she really does love him!) starring Buster Keaton, Dorothy Sebastian, Edward Earle, Leila Hyams, and William Bechtel NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Malcolm Eaton Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two lobby cards from this movie, and we auctioned one of those two cards three times! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card was folded down the middle, but it is not very noticeable from the front. There is much scuffing in the lower right, including on the border art, and a little bit scattered in the rest of the card, but not in Keaton's face. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
