While we once owned this item, we did not auction it through eMoviePoster.com (which is why no price or date is listed) nor do we have it available for purchase. The Last Trail, the 1927 Lewis Seiler silent action cowboy western ("Zane Grey's whirlwind story of the plains"; based on the novel by Zane Grey; "Zane Grey's Whirlwind Story of the Plains") starring Tom Mix, Tony (billed as "The Wonder Horse"), Carmelita Geraghty, William Davidson, and Jerry Madden (billed as "Jerry the Giant"). Note that Jerry Madden had a small part in a 1925 movie, and then starred in "Jerry the Giant", a William Fox comedy short. He made a total of five of these shorts between 1926 and 1927, when Madden was between 3 and 4 years old. He also co-starred with Tom Mix in this movie! We don't know why Madden had this nickname, but we do know that as he became an older boy, he only had minor parts, and he had six roles in the 1930s, before he left movies. However, he lived all the way until 2009, when he passed away at the age of 85. If anyone knows more about Jerry Madden, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
