An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Horror Island, the 1941 George Waggner Universal horror murder mystery thriller ("Original Story by Alex Gottlieb"; a wacky story of a man who is hired to help a man who recently inherited an island with a castle on it, and the owner thinks there is treasure on it, and instead of hiring people to go to the island to find it, he sells tickets on a boat cruise, where the passengers get to go to the island and hunt for the treasure, but of course, they find murder as the passengers are killed off one by one, and if the movie seems similar to Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians", it is because it is!) starring Dick Foran, Leo Carrillo, Peggy Moran, Fuzzy Knight, Lewis Howard, Walter Catlett, Hobart Cavanaugh, John Eldredge, and Iris Adrian NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!).
