An Original Vintage Paperbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) This is the Bowery, the 1941 Gunther von Fritsch New York City poverty documentary short ("John Nesbitt's Passing Parade"; surprisingly realistic for its time; about a homeless man in New York City in 1941 who is in the Bowery, the poorest section of the city, and he visits the Bowery Mission, where he is given a hot meal and a bed for the night, and they give him inspiration to go out and find a job and let him live in a different part of the city) featuring John Nesbitt and Charles St. John. Note that this was one of a series of 64 short subjects produced and narrated by John Nesbitt, made between 1938 and 1949, and distributed by MGM.
