An Autographed Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Road to Bali, the 1952 Hal Walker Indonesia musical screwball adventure comedy sequel (one of the highly successful "Road to..." pictures) starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Dorothy Lamour, Murvyn Vye, Peter Coe, Ralph Moody, Leon Askin, and Steve Calvert (in an uncredited role as the gorilla). Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. He appeared in 12 movies between 1948 and 1958 as a gorilla wearing Corrigan's costume! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Dorothy Lamour! Our consignor purchased this from eMoviePoster.com. Our original consignor had met Miss Lamour at a charity event in the early 1980s. His friend was the stage manager and took him backstage, and she signed this window card (and another one, which we are currently auctioning in a separate auction). As she was signing this poster, our original consignor said to her "It must have been great working with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby". She looked up at him and said "They screwed me out of every dollar they could"! Our original consignor did not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic.
