Gasnier crime thriller ("Wanted! for a crime he didn't commit"; based on the play 'The Quarry' by Max Marcin and the novel of the same name by John A. Moroso; a wild story of a man who has a woman break into his apartment chased by her drunken boyfriend, and he tries to help the woman, and the drunk falls out a window, and dies, and the man gets convicted of the drunk's murder; he is sentenced to life in prison, but he escapes, and he becomes a respected member of the community, but someone who discovers his identity blackmails him!) starring William Powell, Marion Shilling, Natalie Moorhead, Regis Toomey, Paul Hurst, and George Irving. Note that this movie bears a large similarity to "I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang", which was made three years later, but that movie was based on a real incident, and this movie was based on a novel that was turned into a play. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 17" [36 x 43 cm]. Condition: good to very good. The card's blank top was mostly trimmed off. There was a 4" diagonal tear in the bottom border extending through the "O" of "POWELL". The card had been displayed in a frame and it had stains around the edges with creases in the bottom corners and paper loss in the top right corner. Someone put tape on the back of the above defects and performed slight restoration to the front. You can still see signs of the defects and restoration, but the card displays pretty well as it is.
