America Calling, the 1941 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Take your place in Civilian Defense") urging civilians to join the organized non-military effort to prepare civilians for the defense of a military attack against the U.S. Note that this poster features a great image of a bald eagle.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had minor wear on the folds and a 7" vertical tear near the center of the poster, but with no paper loss. There was minor wear around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
