She is surely best remembered for her parts in two movies: The Hustler (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film) and Carrie (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). She passed away in 2023 at the age of 91. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Piper Laurie! This was purchased from the estate of longtime collector Garth Geary, who attended many collectibles shows and surely obtained this in person. Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic.
