James Oliver Curwood's Back to God's Country, the 1953 Joseph Pevney Alaska adventure thriller ("Roaring out of the North...a saga of conquest and high adventure!"; "Roaring out of the gale-lashed north... the saga of a mighty conquest!"; based on the novel by James Oliver Curwood; set in the Canadian North country; a man kills the man who attacks his daughter, but later, another man threatens to expose his past) starring Rock Hudson, Marcia Henderson, Steve Cochran, Hugh O'Brian, Chubby Johnson, and Wapi ("that sensational dog star!"). Note that there were two earlier movies based on this same story in 1919 and it was remade 1927.
