An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Chad Hanna, the 1940 Henry King romantic love triangle circus melodrama ("Printed in the Saturday Evening Post under the title of 'Red Wheels Rolling'"; based on the novel by Walkter D. Edmonds; about a country bumpkin who joins the circus in the mid-1800s, and he tries to win the heart of a beautiful horse rider, but she rejects him, but he finds love with a country girl who has also joined the circus, and he manages to save the circus from bankruptcy as well!) starring Henry Fonda (in the title role as Chad Hanna), Dorothy Lamour, Linda Darnell, Guy Kibbee, Jane Darwell, John Carradine, Ted North, Roscoe Ates, and Ben Carter. Note that this movie was made the same year as "The Grapes of Wrath", in which Fonda and Jane Darwell memorably appeared together! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some paper loss and a tear in the bottom quarter of the vertical fold, with tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss in the top quarter of the vertical fold, and some creases and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the other foldlines. It had pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
