A Fig Leaf for Eve, the 1944 Don Brodie bad girl exotic dancer crime melodrama (about an exotic dancer who is arrested for "lewd activity", and then she discovers that it was a set up by her boss to get her publicity) starring Jan Wiley (in the title role as Eve), Phil Warren, Eddie Dunn, Janet Scott, and Emmett Vogan. Note that this movie pretended to be quite daring, but actually, it was pretty tame, but that did not stop wily promoters from passing it off as a very risque sex movie, and re-releasing it many times under titles such as "Desirable Lady", "Reckless Youth", "Not Enough Clothes", "Room for Love", "Flaming Girls", "Strips and Blondes" and "Hollywood Nights"!
