An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 11 1/2"; contains 1 supplement and 13 stills) (Learn More) Explorers, the 1985 Joe Dante science fiction (sci-fi) teen fantasy adventure thriller ("The adventure begins in your own back yard."; "You don't need a driver's license to reach the stars."; "From Joe Dante, director of 'Gremlins'"; "The stuff that dreams are made of."; "Everybody needs a helping hand when they're lost in space.") starring Ethan Hawke (in his first credited movie role!), River Phoenix, Jason Presson, Bobby Fite, and Amanda Peterson. Note that U.S. international posters for this film go to the trouble of highlighting the credit of Special Makeup Effects artist Rob Bottin, but they incorrectly spell his name as "Bob Bottin"! Important Added Info: Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and four of the stills (less than four if the presskit has less than four stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN FOUR OF THEM (and we pretty much picked four stills at random). Condition: very good to fine. Note that the vast majority of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are usually in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image.
