Important Added Info: Note that this style B poster, which solely has the film strip image, is a very rare poster (the style A poster with artwork of the stars is also rare). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and two tears to the left of the top crossfold that entered the bottom of the "Y" of "HOLLYWOOD" and the top of the "T" of "STORY". There were extra creases, scuffs, a few tiny tears, and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of several foldlines, and some pinholes, tears, and smudges around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a very thin border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
