An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 28" x 41") (Learn More) Toby's Bow, the 1919 Harry Beaumount silent romantic writer author comedy melodrama ("By John Tainter Foote"; about an established writer who goes incognito as a boarder of a poor but aristocratic Virginia family, and he meets their daughter who wants to be a writer, and he helps her write a book, and it is accepted for publication, and she insists he be billed as well, and his true identity is revealed, and she is mad at him for a while for deceiving her, but she forgives him and all ends happily!) starring Tom Moore, Doris Pawn, Macey Harlam, Arthur Housmas, Colin Kenny, and Nick Cogley (in the title role as Uncle Toby) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41". Please do not bid on it thinking that it is 27" x 41". What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had an extra horizontal foldline 1/2" to the left of the regular one and there were creases, tears, and some areas of paper loss in between the two folds, mostly at the three crossfolds. There were some creases and tears on the other foldlines, and some pinholes, creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
