An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" (8x10.25) Movie Still (Learn More) Suzy, the 1936 George Fitzmaurice World War I (WWI) London England romantic love triangle military comedy (based on the novel by Herbert Gorman; similar to 1941's "Casablanca"; Harlow is a showgirl in England who is married to Tone, and he is shot during World War I, and she thinks he is dead, and she falls in love with airplane pilot Grant in Paris, only to learn that her husband is still alive) starring Jean Harlow ("Jean's in Paris now!"; in the title role as Suzy), Franchot Tone, Cary Grant, Lewis Stone, Benita Hume, Inez Courtney, and Harry Cording NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of the top stars including Cary Grant and Jean Harlow laughing on the set with the director! Also note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off.
